Apollo Diemakers C.C. was established by Mr Aroo Moodley in May 1995 with a view to offer professional and efficient service to the printing and manufacturing industry. We are located in the Pinetown area and typically cater for the printing/packaging and manufacturing industry. While the core business is the manufacturing of high precision cutting formes, usually for use on flat-bed and rotary machines, we do offer vacuum forming and die cutting services as well.

 

Starting with just 3 skilled workers utilising manual die-making equipment and plenty of dedication and effort, this once tiny business has steadily grown larger year on year. However, with increasing supply and demand and ever increasing standards of quality and accuracy, a change was needed in order to compete with growing competition and meet the latest standards. 

 

By 2008, Apollo Dies had implemented fully automated equipment. The core of which, is our highly precise 3000 W multipurpose laser, a machine which is capable of cutting through a wide range of materials of varying thickness.

 

This fully automated machine employs cutting edge technology which still impresses many years down the line. 

 

The key to this, is the speed and accuracy which is difficult to match and allows us to accommodate large volumes of work in relatively short periods of time.

The second aspect is the incorporation of fully automated Rule processors. This high quality machinery effortlessly shapes steel to fit into the die cut grooves created by the laser, with millimetric accuracy at remarkable speeds, thus allowing Apollo Dies to have remarkable times and improved service.
